I am glad that the girls finally got their new dog. That is just precious. And I am glad that the mainstream media has been all over this story like flies on… Well, you know.
I’m glad that they are happy, and the guys over at MSNBC are happy, and everybody is just having a ogle fest over the dog, and the photo ops, and the smiles, and all of the ooggy boogy booo, but hey!!! our country is falling apart here.
Now I wouldn’t be so down on the president, if I didn’t know where the dog actually came from. President Obama promised his little girls that they would get a new dog, and they would go to the pound. They were going to pick out a stray, or possibly get a dog from a licensed and certified breeder, and we were all on doggy watch for the last two months. Now I know that the president is a busy guy, but he did make a promise to his little girls.
At every press conference there was the question, “When are you going to get a dog?” and laughter rang out in the press corp, because it was such a cute question, and the response was always the same. He’ was working on it, they were looking, they would get a dog soon. Finally they got a gift from the Kennedy’s. A portuguese water dog… Why that was the kind of dog the girls wanted, and how convenient was it that they needed a dog to appease the media. Well everything worked out swimmingly didn’t it?
Not really. Barack promised his girls that He would get them a dog. Not that he would get them a present from the Kennedy’s. You can lie to me Mr. President. I expect that from you, but don’t lie to your little girls. If you were any kind of man you would give those girls a dog from you. From the heart, like you promised.
