Let’s talk about racism.

Published by webdemon at 2:44 am under Uncategorized Edit This

This was the scene in Washington as Barbara Boxer Spoke in a racially condescending manner to the Black chamber of commerce president and CEO.

http://www.youtube.com/v/<object width=

And this is what he had to say about it in an interview with John Ziegler.

http://www.youtube.com/v/<object width=

I have written about this issue on several occasions here, and on thewebdemon.com when it was still up and running.  Liberals are guilty of racism, even if they won’t admit to it.  The idea that blacks are stupid comes from liberal dogma, not conservative ideology.  Conservatives marched with Dr King.  Conservatives were opposed to segregation, and a republican freed the slaves.  The “Progressive” movement brought segregation during the Wilson administration, and it was “Progressives” that stood with the Ku Klux Klan.  Today the progressives have brought us the assault on the Black community called abortion.

It’s not much of a stretch to believe that the liberals truly believe that the black community is inferior, which is the very definition of “Racism.”  They tell us that all the time.  On college campuses around the country students get shuffled into an auditorium for orientation to be told that all white people are Nazis, and Blacks are less intelligent than whites, so they have to be graded differently.  It’s called “Cultural competence.”  This program is based on the idea that all blacks are from urban areas where the schools are worse, therefore all blacks are disadvantaged, and they obviously are less intelligent than white people.   That’s completely ridiculous of course, because no one can be stereotyped based on the color of their skin.  I have been all over this country, and in several others, and let me tell you, I have met some brilliant black people, and a whole lot of dumb ass white boys.

The fact is that the drive and intelligence of a person has nothing to do with the color of ones skin.  Take for example…  Oh…  The president of the united states, although I disagree with him on every level of his politics, he is obviously a well educated, and brilliant man.  There are millions of African Americans in this country that fit the same bill, yet the liberals in this nation still see the African American community as ignorant, and those assertions are backed up by so called black leaders that tell us just how impoverished the black community is, and there is no way that a black man can make it in today’s racially charged environment.  The same premise that Michael Moore uses when he says that there is no way that you can become a millionaire in today’s economic environment, even though there are smart business savvy entrepreneurs becoming millionaires every day.  Funny coming from a guy who is a millionaire, and worked his way to riches from a middle class background.

To liberals, the idea that an African American person could graduate college without help is inconceivable. The same goes for small town Americans.  It is inconceivable to liberals that small town Americans could possibly be intelligent.  We are called rednecks, and hillbillies.  Liberals couldn’t possibly understand that we are just as smart as any other human on the face of the earth.  The fact is that everyone is smart in their own way.  Every person in this country has their own talents, and something that motivates them to be better than they were the day before.  That doesn’t change with skin color, or economic background.  As a matter of fact, especially in my case, poverty is a great motivator.

Liberal democrats say that they are the party of the people, yet they continually put down poor people, and insult the intelligence of people that have pulled themselves up by their boot straps.  This is especially true with Black people who have worked themselves out of poverty. Take Clarence Thomas.  He has been called an “Uncle Tom”  Condaleeza Rice was called Bush’s “House Negro,” and Colon Powell was called a “Token.”  Juan Williams, who had a discussion with Bill O’Reilly about the unfair stereotyping of blacks in the media, was later called a “Happy Negro.”  These attacks didn’t come from the right.  They came from the left.

For an example of the hatred of poor people that liberals have, just take a look at Senate Majority leader Harry Reid.  He grew up outside of Las Vegas in a very poor family.  His alcoholic father would beat him, and he worked himself out of the situation he was in by getting good grades, and working himself through law school.  Again, Poverty is a great motivator.  But to Harry, this was an embarrassing part of his life.  He was embarrassed to tell people where he was from, and how he grew up.

To his liberal friends that would have been his demise.  To a conservative that is a great success story.  Conservatives know that that is what the American dream is all about.  To liberals that is unacceptable.  No poor hillbilly should ever be allowed to rise to power.  That is a position reserved for the elite in this country.  Sarah Palin is a typical middle class woman with a fishing boat.  Her husband works on an oil rig, yet she rose to Governor.  She did that through hard work, and a real sense of loyalty to the people of Alaska, and she has been called a hillbilly, a redneck, a stewardess, and the insults haven’t been reserved just for her.  Her daughter, who is a teen mother, has been called “Trailer Trash” and her down syndrome son has been called a “Retard.”  If this were the son of a liberal, or any other child, the word “Retard” would be taboo, and just the mention of the word would call for the firing of whoever said it, from not only the left in this country, but the people in hollyweird.  (I.E. Berny Goldberg, who simply said the word “Retarded” and was attacked relentlessly)  Amazingly though the left is mysteriously silent when it comes to the special needs child of Sarah Palin who is reviled by the left.  Not just because she is a conservative, but because she is a middle class woman that had the audacity to think that she could be governor, and later the vice presidential nominee.

Want more proof?  Lets look at supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is a hero of the left, who recently said that “You can’t expect a black person to pass a ‘written test’” She recently admitted that abortion was about controlling certain populations.   She was appointed by Bill Clinton who’s wife proudly declares that she is a “Modern Progressive,” and whose  heroes include a woman who was a supporter of eugenics, and has a picture or two of her with the Klan.  Oh yeah she was a supporter of the idea that abortion is a “Right.”

This is Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, and a supporter of the eugenics programs of the 1930’s.  This happens to be a hero of Clinton’s and recently Hillary won the Margaret Sanger award from planned parenthood.   She recently had to say this about Margaret;   “I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision… when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her….”

I’m getting the idea that the liberals in the democratic party are getting a little too cocky.  They are letting slip the secrets that conservatives have been trying to tell people about for years.  It’s not conservatives you have to fear when it comes to racism.  It is the left, and more specifically those “Modern progressives” that tell you one thing, but believe something completely different.  They say they are there to help the little guy, but really they are for big government, and controlling the population.  They say that they are for nationalizing health-care to make it more accessible, yet say that older Americans need to consider going to a hospice rather than getting care in a hospital.  Obama recently said “We know we spend a huge amount of money that last year of life. More and more people are gonna say, I don’t want people poking tubes, and, you know, uh, doing all sorts of…stuff.  The most important thing we can do on end-of-life care right now: to encourage people to look at hospices as a…legitimate option.”  And what happens if the “Dumb masses” try to get the point across that they don’t like his plan?  This happens.  They don’t care about us.  They care about their money, and their power.  Everything else is irrelevant.

People are starting to wake up to that fact.  Finally.  Finally people are starting to see the disdain that our politicians have for the American people.  People are starting to wake up to the fact that racism is institutionalized in this country, and it’s not the conservatives that are pushing these agendas.  Conservatives are speaking out against the destructive political and racial rhetoric.  The problem is that every time a conservative speaks, the left, and the mainstream media, are there to shoot down anything we say, or believe in.  We are called hatemongers, racists, stupid, and fear mongers for trying to get the truth of the matter out.

It’s time we stop people.  It’s time we get back to the principles that founded this nation.  We have learned so much in the last two hundred years.  Let’s take what we have learned and apply it to make a stronger, more libertarian nation, where everyone is equal, and free to succeed.  Not a totalitarian government bent on oppressing the people of this great country.

Liberals say that they don’t trust government, but they want the government to pay for every facet of their life.  Conservatives say that they don’t trust government, and we just want government to leave us the hell alone.  Let us succeed or fail on our own terms.  We are the keepers of our own destiny, and we don’t need government telling us how to run our lives, our business, which doctor we can see, or which procedures they are going to “Allow” us to have.

Great article. I will be back.

Liberals, Conservatives, Right, Left - I’m so confused - but in this thread you did make some important points that I related to as I watched the Confirmation Hearings last week.

Truth is I am sooooo sick of racism but it exists - even among black on black, racism exists - not that I am excusing it but their is a psychology behind it that was started in slave days and has been carried on to this day because racism has continued to this day and it amazes me that blacks have not perceived the “game” or maybe they just accept the game because they see no other way to be propelled through the ranks in a white dominated system.

Racism, the talk of racism, the act of racism, the feel of racism wears me the hell out - personally, I don’t see it ever changing. I may be wrong - but I doubt it because tooooooo many people are in denial about it’s very existence.

Black people have it difficult because it is so visually obvious who we are so in order to be “accepted” you at least have to speak in agreement of ideas, you have to talk with the same inflections, you have to become, on some level, the “same as” or else you are left behind - it’s crazy but it is real.

Basically, I still feel we are back in the 20’s only the words have been cleaned up - the attitudes are the same and I feel it everyday I step out into the world (not from everybody but from enough to let me know not much has changed) and truth be told, as a result of the feeling I have become a straight “homebody” but I know my time here on earth is drawing to an end - that gives me solace.

However, I do feel bad for those I will be leaving behind (my kids, grandkids etc.) who will continue to be caught up in what I view as straight irrational madness.

Everybody - change the world by recognizing and changing yourself - please

That’s the great thing about the internet. We just have discussions here. We don’t know if the guy on the other end is white or black, short or tall, or even human. We can just communicate our ideas without the racial bias. I can pick through the lies, and tell the truths. It makes me mad to know that the rebel flag is a symbol of hate to the rest of the country. If you come down here to SW Virginia, you get the idea that it really isn’t when you see Blacks out on their porches flying that same flag with pride. That flag is a symbol of freedom, and state’s rights. They know what the civil war was fought over, and if you ask a southerner, they will tell you that the worst mistake Jefferson Davis made was keeping slavery intact, because it took the focus off of what the civil war was really fought over.
As far as the 20s are concerned, remember, that was the “Progressive era” that Hillary is so fond of. Read a book called “1920 the year of six presidents” You will be blown away.

I only read your first two paragraphs when I became sick to my stomach. To infer that racism is indigenous to one party or another is one of the most asinine things I have ever heard and is not worthy of debate. “I can pick through the lies and tell the truth.” Great-we have ANOTHER superior being in our midst. I could dispute every ridiculous assertion you have made but I’m stepping away because you are beginning to remind me of someone else.

  5. truth2uon 19 Jul 2009 at 9:18 am edit this

    @ tailback
this is just what I meant, the titles did not mean anything - liberals, conservatives what ever - the point was racism exists but rather than acknowledge the overall truths you sit in judgement of specific words. - one thing for sure is you can not “disprove racism” because it exists and is forever rearing its ugly head and voice.

Just because a person does not speak in your terms does not negate the message - I have issues with the terms only because they draw more division but yet points were made.

I can feel the rage in your words and wonder whether they are from the terms or the attitude.

    @webdemon
the 20’s was a time of joining through music and dance - a starting point - which on some levels brought about awareness but not necessarily of changed attitudes. The flag you refer to still holds ugly meaning to a lot of blacks in the south (there was a debate not to many years ago, I think in Atlanta, as to whether it was “proper” to still fly the flag over the capital building).

I am just watching from the sidelines taking this all in…

Anything I may have wanted to say has already been stated, one sentence here and one there by different individuals. This appears to be a topic that goes on forever.

I am not saying too awful much about it because the topic began on the (today.com) as generally being about the prejudiced directed towards African Americans. As I have already mentioned in comments on my own blog, being white I have experienced a severe form of racism that had a severely negative impact on my life and well being; of course I could make statements on how prejudices affect white individuals, as well as non-blacks in general.

And then on another level yet - On my father’s side they were from India’s higher castes. I am told our family owned African slaves. I have heard how the older members of our family spoke of them. Being descended from these ’slave owners’ makes me no more likely to understand that mindset. I know today that if I were there back there then I would feel no differently.

I remember hearing my great-aunt saying that she ‘hated to touch her black slaves.’ Of course she did. When you make human contact you are most likely to feel the realness of their human spirit. When would she be more likely to feel the horror of the indignity imposed upon them. When would she be more likely to see that they were just like she… I wouldn’t have been able to handle touching those people either… I just wouldn’t have explained it as she had.

    Cheers

@truth-Once again; you have completely missed the point. “the point was racism exists…”-wrong again. The point was that it is the liberals who perpetuate racism as opposed to the conservatives. Try reading the entire article before making your ridiculous assertions. Are you really insinuating that I am unaware that racism still exists? LOL.

“I can feel the rage in your words and wonder whether they are from the terms or the attitude.” WTF? Would you please stop pretending you know anything about me or my upbringing?

“the titles did not mean anything…” LMAO. Further evidence that you didn’t read the entire article or you had trouble comprehending it since it was all about TITLES.

  8. vrajavalaon 19 Jul 2009 at 5:02 pm edit this

yeah Margaret Sanger and her eugenics. Planned Parenthood in the black communities. John Holdren mandating mass sterilization.
I have to take exception with your statement that the POTUSA is a brilliant man, Where is he without his teleprompter? Plus he has a very destructive Nero complex, and can’t admit when he’s made a mistake. However, he is not making a mistake. His one and only job is to take down the USA. That’s what he’s been programmed to do his entire life.

  9. truth2uon 19 Jul 2009 at 10:58 pm edit this

I did read the article and I understood your comment the first time but the intensity of your comment made me wonder whether you were upset because he blamed it on the liberals or was it really because of something else… it seems like you kinda negated everything else because of the titles when most of you guys always talk in terms of titles blaming one “group” or another for whatever so for that reason I did not understand the rage you expressed over titles when the basic subject was about racism - who cares who perpetrates it the understanding that it exists is real and it is ugly regardless of who perpetrates it - it’s not just a one group thing.

Sticking labels on and accusing one group of all things is always a mistake to me in fact I have problems with labels period and WTH is a wingnut (from someone else’s post - I just refused to look it up)

  10. truth2uon 19 Jul 2009 at 11:22 pm edit this

I’m sorry rage just throws me off it reflects more on the rage filled person than anything - why rage?? why not just a conversation like “I may disagree with you saying liberals are the cause but you have made some interesting points” or “I totally disagree with everything you have said” - rage covers for other things and there is a lot of rage and rudeness on a lot of these sites.

  11. tailback24on 20 Jul 2009 at 6:21 am edit this

” Liberals are guilty of racism, even if they won’t admit to it. The idea that blacks are stupid comes from liberal dogma, not conservative ideology.”

Are you still going to tell me that the article was about racism and not any particular group that perpetuates it? Also, you said: “Sticking labels on and accusing one group of all things is always a mistake to me.” Would you at least be a bit consistent in your comments. My “rage” (LOL) stems from the very thing you objected to yet you fail to mention that the prevailing theme of the article was “labeling.” Once again; you have completely missed the point while focusing your attention on my reaction to an absurd contention.

  12. truth2uon 20 Jul 2009 at 6:41 am edit this

ok whatever you say - this person can believe what he wants to believe regarding whoever is quilty of racism that just shows who he is and his thought process. I was simply agreeing to the fact that racism exists. This is the same kind of logic I get from other places whenever I post anything about black’s struggle in America - they always turn it back on me, like I am the racist - just like they are now turning reverse discrimination into basis for a lawsuit - these are the reason racism will continue, these are the reasons conversations about race will never move forward, these are the reasons I hate to talk about racism because people would rather lie than commit to change.

  13. truth2uon 20 Jul 2009 at 8:38 am edit this

I’m sorry I had to end my post my computer got compromised - anyway the reality is that blacks are racist - they are racist against whites, WITH cause and they are racist against other blacks (through learned actions), and that is the psychology I tried to describe above (lots of blacks would deny the racism they have for other blacks but truth is truth to me) They “learned” the black on black racism from whites and it has been passed on through generations of attempting to be “accepted” by white America because they were stripped of all family ties from day one.

NOW that being said that does not take away the fact that whites are racist, WITHOUT cause (I can not speak in terms of liberals and conservatives), not only are whites racist but they perpetrated the origins of racism in America so whose crime is larger - I would say whites.

All of us need to look at the realities of racism before it can change and denial, on any level, defeats the effort of change - this is why I can not see racism changing - because whites refuse to look at their role then and now of racism in America and blacks have to some degree been brainwashed by a need to be accepted - In my life, I have been told by a black person that I was not black enough - whatever the hell that means - when I look in the mirror there is no denying I am black.

That need is strong for acceptance by blacks because they have been stripped of their identities, their affiliations with their people, disrespected, called horrible names because of the color of their skin and shown repeatedly that the “lighter” you are the better chance you have at succeeding - that’s why “passing” for white was so common back in the day and may still be common today in America, the more you speak with the inflections of “white America” the better your chances are in moving up the ladder - Yet Arnold has a serious accent and has moved up quicker than a black American.

For me whites have played blacks from day one - a malicious act and with no strong “home base” it has been a struggle to unify in the black communities. If I chose to hate, I could find the reason to hate whites but what’s the point? If I did hate, for me they would have truly won - my soul, and my soul is already spoken for.

So in the final analysis, whites, like undoubtedly the person who wrote this post is, and those who constantly attempt to put racism on blacks think that by putting racism on blacks and blacks alone or “liberals” they are still trying to play the “game” but in reality they are showing me how small minded and far removed, from what is real, they truly are - but then again, that’s a white person (not all are like that but there are many).

Sorry if I offend anybody but it is what it is and however you look at it whites are the true racists - then and now.

“NOW that being said that does not take away the fact that whites are racist, WITHOUT cause (I can not speak in terms of liberals and conservatives), not only are whites racist but they perpetrated the origins of racism in America so whose crime is larger - I would say whites.”

“Sorry if I offend anybody but it is what it is and however you look at it whites are the true racists - then and now.”

These are two of your comments that I find to be offensive. Your across-the-board generalization of whites as racists is abhorring. I have been accused of being many things and am ashamed of some of the things I have done but neither involved racism. Truth be told; I was raised in a home where bigotry of any kind was not tolerated. I am fully aware that racism is still prevalent in America and if you had the slightest clue about my life; you would know that I have been a staunch advocate of any equal rights bill or movement.

You are big on telling others to look in the mirror. After your stereotypical comments and your obvious opinions; it’s high time you take a good look at yourself. Despite your claim to be devoid of hate or racism-you make some very racist comments such as the ones I have cited above. It is what it is!!!

  15. truth2uon 20 Jul 2009 at 12:59 pm edit this

    @tailback
like I said if I offended anybody I am sorry but it is what it is - like I said in my post, NOT ALL ARE LIKE THAT BUT THERE ARE MANY, if it did not apply to you specifically then I don’t know why you took it personally except to say your guilt becomes obvious in your denial - get a grip. Even when I am honest people trip - what can I say.

  16. tailback24on 20 Jul 2009 at 1:20 pm edit this

You are one pretentious person-”I don’t know why you took it personally except to say your guilt becomes obvious in your denial.” FUCK YOU!! You avoid the fact that you stereotyped all whites and THAT is what I object to “Like I said in my post, NOT ALL ARE LIKE THAT BUT THERE ARE MANY.” You managed to slip that in via an afterthought indicated by its presence in parentheses. The majority (vast) of your comments are generalizations and stereotypes. There certainly is “rage” now due to your grandiose nature. I don’t know who the hell you think you are but I can assure you that if the e-mails I receive are any indication-a large majority of people on this site see right through your self-righteous bullshit. If you don’t like the profanity-TOUGH SHIT! Accusing someone, who you don’t even know, of being a racist is far more offensive than any profanity I can come up with.

  17. truth2uon 20 Jul 2009 at 2:47 pm edit this

your rant is noted and your denial is funny. I am LMAO - keep denying cause that changes nothing.

self righteous is not who I am - if I was I would have denied this article - and regardless to what you think of my statements you make some irrational rants every time you disagree with someone - plenty of them plus you can not sit and have a conversation without going totally off when someone has a different opinion than yours - you know they have medication for that - you should see a doctor.

You and people like you really irritate me. don’t rant at me and I promise I will not talk to you. And you know what if I offended you (specifically you) I am not sorry.

I am glad you were offended cause you only tuned in to what would offend you in your narrow scope of reality. just like you went off on somebody about the medical coverage conversation they talked to you nicely and you calmed down - I don’t care how excited you get - have a heart attack for all I care because you are ridiculously out of control.

as far as I’m concerned you always have to comment directly to me because you never like what I say get over it I have the right to say what I feel and I will continue to say what I feel - you live in your own little world where you are always the only one who is right.

You have issues and you can not change my view of the world regardless of how much you curse or shout or rant and it shows your bully mentality every time you try to yell me or anybody else down to your beliefs - it ends up being a reflection of you and I see you as egotistical, arrogant, and crazy - yep I called names this time cause I’m getting down to your level seems like that’s the only level you understand.

Spare me your words next time cause I am tuning you out too. That’s three people at one site I have had to tune out. I don’t run into this many crazy people in the real world or are you just the kind of coward that feels tough because no one really knows who you are.

Issues personified - oh by the way you can KISS MY ASS - LOL

I’ll let you have the last word because I know that’s part of who you are - your immaturity - as far as I’m concerned you do not exist anymore either so rant on, rant on.

  18. scottystarneson 20 Jul 2009 at 4:22 pm edit this

LOL…I see the see all/know all is up to her usual tricks. I am on her list…thank you list!!! I’ve already had this conversation with truth. In her book “all white people are racist” which shows her own racism. People have caught on and she will just call you names and say she has written you off. I’m just one of those lucky folks…lol :)

  19. tailback24on 20 Jul 2009 at 5:24 pm edit this

Oh No-Not “The List”. Well Scotty; if I’m to be placed on the list, at least I’m in good company-you. I wonder if that dumb fuck truth is aware that our ideologies differ so greatly and yet we manage to have civilized debates and have also become friends? I wonder why that is. Oh-I got it. Because we support our arguments and stay on point. This opens the door to better understanding of the other’s opinion while not necessarily agreeing with it. How can you argue with the only person on this, or any other site, who knows all about everyone and everything. I stand proudly beside you on “The List” my friend.

  20. webdemonon 20 Jul 2009 at 11:11 pm edit this

Again the liberals call names to “win” the debate. Knock it off! This site is for intelligent discussion not name calling.
This post was about is specific brand of racism. I was not saying that only liberals are racist. I live in the south for Christ’s sake. I know that racists are individuals just as well as every other person in this country. Everyone has their own ideas, and that transcends race, political preference, or religious preference. The point I was making is that liberals try to convince us that they are “Progressive.” Their definition of “Progressive” is someone that is enlightened. The truth is that they can be racist too. And, that particular brand of racism is an insult to the intelligence of the people in this country.
When I say that it is “Liberal dogma, and not conservative ideology” I mean that liberals are taught that minorities are intellectually inferior. It is part of the dogma of the liberal, or, “Progressive” movement. Conservative ideology on the other hand is about liberty, freedom, and equality. Racists on that side are racist individuals not following any political ideology to come to their conclusions.
Let me give you an example. There was a young man that signed up in the Marine Corps just after 9/11. He served three tours in Iraq, and when he came home he used his GI bill to go to Columbia. He was sitting in the cafeteria eating his lunch in his ROTC uniform and two liberal twits come to him and say “Don’t you know that the military exploits minorities?” He get’s a little upset and explains why he joined the military. Loudly, of course. And, in not such a nice manner. They actually said “You wouldn’t understand, you’re just a Mexican” First of all, this individual was Puertorican, and not “Mexican” The second mistake they made was this individual grew up in a hard working middle class family. He was not “Exploited” into the military. As a matter of fact I was poor as dirt when I went into the Marine Corps, and I chose to better my life by going into the military.
That’s not to say that there are no conservative racists. We know that they are there. The difference is that they are overtly racist. At least you know where they stand. That in no way makes it right, but it has to make you think.

  21. webdemonon 20 Jul 2009 at 11:22 pm edit this

vrajavala: Oh no he is brilliant. He has done what the Clintons couldn’t do. He is scary brilliant, which makes him dangerous. You are absolutely dead on. When he says that the stimulus has done exactly what they wanted it to do. People think that that was a misstatement, but it wasn’t. It did exactly what he wanted it to do. Weaken America for a complete take over by the government. If you think he is going to go away in 2012 you are kidding yourself. He is already getting ACORN pumped for the next election. He is looking for a permanent position.

  22. toolman11on 21 Jul 2009 at 1:55 am edit this

Damn! yea racism is alive in this country but no one party or race has a monopoly on it. The blacks raise their children to hate whites and any non blacks and the whites do the same. The only thing is, it is real hard to outgrow your raising. I mean I was born and raised in the south I have seen and heard the ugliest of the ugly s. I am glad I am to young to remember the separate water fountains and restaurants. But it is still here. I have grown a lot over the years and I think I have over come a great deal of the hate I was taught because I learned to deal with the true enemy that being fear. Once I over come my fear of my fellow man based on their pigmentation I was able to take on the greatest enemy Myself. It is to easy to hate and it is easy to blame but those things do nothing to heal the pains of the past. I think 24 is right when he says you can’t just say it is the liberals. Truth be known their is racism everywhere and only by acknowledging our own weakness in this area can we start to help others with theirs. A very painful subject but the Republicans are really pulling the wool over the eye’s of many if you think their RNC is not a political ploy.

I do agree on some of the points you have brought up. I do find it funny that african americans trend to vote democratic but if you know anything about that community…a large number of values and beliefs fall more in line with conserativtism. I don’t think it does any good to assign blame to which party or group “started it” The bottom line is repubs have done nothing to even attempt to appeal to the “black vote” because they know they are not going to get it. Fair enough, but they have not only not reached out to this community, the allow themselves and sometimes are themselves appear to be racist. African Americans don’t want a hand out. They want what America promised, and it is going to take positive steps to get to that promise. I leave you with this. My views on…
    Affirmative Action

“On Monday 3 kids come to your door and ask for a penny. You only have 2 pennies, so you give them to 2 of the 3 kids. Tues comes, and the same 3 kids show up, you give 2 pennies to the same two kids, the same event happens all the way till friday. On friday, you are prepared. You hear the knock, and it’s the same 3 kids, you give the first 2 a penny just like before, but you give the 3rd kid 5 pennies. The first 2 kids get mad at the 3rd because he got more than they did.

“I mean that liberals are taught that minorities are intellectually inferior.” I’m sure you can support that assertion-right? I was raised in a liberal household as well as a liberal state and NEVER was exposed to the nonsense you contend. BTW-don’t accuse me of name calling when I was the one who was called a racist.

Be kind enough to cite examples of this liberal dogma you insist exists. Apparently; this secret remains with you since the minority vote consistently goes to the Democrats. Are you saying that they are not smart enough to see that their vote is perpetuating racism? I’m very interested in seeing your responses.

While I anxiously await your response; I’d like to point out the absurdity of your veiled attempt at justifying your argument by using Harry Reid as an example. Are you so arrogant to think that you, and you alone, knew of the circumstances of Harry Reid’s upbringing? It’s in Wikipedia for Christ’s sake. While we’re at it; perhaps you could explain why Reid has a 19% LIFETIME rating from the enlightened American Conservative Union yet has a 70% rating from those dumb ass members of the Americans for Democratic Action. Kind of shoots your foolish argument to shit, now doesn’t it?

“Liberal Democrats say they are the party of the people, yet they continually put down poor people and insult the intelligence of people that have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps.” How dramatic? LMFAO. Who, what, where, when?

Your entire article is wrought with your own distorted view of liberals. Some of us actually research our material before posting it. You may want to research the past 30 years and see what bills were proposed by the liberals and what bills were proposed by the conservatives regarding the impoverished. You won’t like what you see. It’s no wonder truth2u sides with you; your MO is very similar.

@truth2u~was not racism involved when a particular group of Africans (from a different tribe) enslaved another group of Africans (from another tribe) to sell to Europeans, Arabs and others? This “typical” white person would like to know.

Yes scotty that is racism. The American Indians did the same thing between different tribes. The Arabic nations have wars between the different tribes too. This type of racism is no more correct.

    Peace all :)
